X-Gluc  GUS基因活性检测用底物用途：

检测大肠杆菌中uidA基因（β-葡萄糖苷酶基因β-glucuronidase, GUS）的底物。95%的大肠杆菌具有β-葡萄糖苷酶基因，用这种发色底物的培养基可以检测以及定量食品样本如肉、奶制品以及贝类中的大肠杆菌数量，以及在临床上检测尿路感染。国际上普遍采用该产品取代传统方法以精确检测饮用水中的大肠杆菌数量，该方法大大降低了假阳性和假阴性。也用于快速检测植物中GUS基因融合标记。

华越洋x-gluc也可作为发光底物检测β-葡萄糖苷酶(GUS)基因。

Introduction：

The chromogenic substrate X-Gluc is used in a variety of applications for the detection of the β-glucuronidase enzyme. Upon reduction, X-Gluc produces a localized colour, making it useful in identifying GUS gene presence in most cell types and for the detection of the GUS gene fusion marker in plants.

X-Gluc has reported applications in the detection of contaminated food samples such as meat, dairy, and shellfish products.

X-Glucuronide also has clinical applications in the assessment of urinary tract infection by detecting the presence of E. coli. It has gained international acceptance as an accurate indicator for the presence of E. coli in potable water samples by reducing false positives and negatives found with traditional methods.
